Creating potential for arts education
NAEA was looking to revitalize its identity and digital presence. The organization was pivoting from being an association that only provided resources to an organization that advocating for the arts. I led the recreation of the brand identity.
After interviewing the association's members and stakeholders, we saw that they were not only trying to connect their students with their humanity, but unlock their creative potential. I created an identity and messaging that centered around this idea of shaping human potential. The visual identity focused on a monogram that doubled as a ladder. The larger identity brought in physical, tactile aspects of art and design education along photography that showed people creating and unlocking their potential.
